If you're a ProAdvisor, accountant, bookkeeper, or systems integrator serving wholesale or industrial distribution clients on QuickBooks, our partner program turns the introductions you're already making into recurring revenue. One flat tier, no exclusivity, no quotas, no installation overhead. SideQuest is self-install via our prompt — you point clients at the front door, we do the rest.

Program terms

  • You don't need to be a paying SideQuest customer first. Many partners use it themselves; some don't.
  • No exclusivity. Recommend other tools alongside ours if that's right for the client.
  • 30-day attribution. If a client signs up within 30 days of your referral or your deal registration, you're credited.
  • No clawback if a customer churns. You get paid for the months they actually pay. If they cancel, your payouts stop; we don't ask you to refund anything.
  • No services obligation. SideQuest is self-install. If you want to offer paid hands-on setup to your clients on top of our prompt, that is your services revenue to keep.

FAQ

How are referrals tracked?

Two ways. (1) Each partner gets a unique signup URL — anyone who lands on the marketing site via that link and signs up within 30 days is attributed to you automatically. (2) If your client signs up without using the link, email [email protected] with their work email domain before they sign up; we'll match it on the back end. Deal registration on inquiry also counts — tell us about a prospect before they hear from us and you are credited.

When and how do I get paid?

Quarterly. We tally what your referred customers actually paid for the quarter, multiply by 25%, and ACH (US) or Stripe Connect (international) the result. First payout is usually one quarter after your first customer signs up. If you'd rather get paid monthly we can do that too — tell us on the application form.

What happens if I refer a client already in the SideQuest pipeline?

The first warm intro or deal registration wins. If we have an active conversation with a prospect before your referral lands, we'll tell you, and you can decide whether to bow out or stay involved on a non-attributed basis. Honest priority queue, not a race.

Can my client get a discount through me?

You can negotiate one with us on the customer's behalf. The 25% is yours to keep recurring; if a client is on the fence and needs a one-time discount to close, email us and we will sort it out — usually we will trim a month or two off the first year rather than carve up your commission. Your relationship, your call.

What does the partner agreement look like?

Two pages, plain English. It covers: commission rate (25%), attribution window (30 days), payout cadence (quarterly default), IP (we own the product, you own your client relationship), termination (either side can exit with 30 days notice). No exclusivity, no non-compete, no minimums. We'll send it after you apply.

Do I have to install or configure the product for my clients?

No. SideQuest is self-install via our install prompt — your client pastes the prompt into Claude Desktop, Claude walks them through the setup, done in roughly 25 minutes. You are welcome to bill them for hands-on setup if you want services revenue on top of the referral commission, but you are not required to. If they hit a wall they can email us directly.

Do you offer co-marketing?

Yes — we'll feature you in case studies your clients agree to, list you in our partner directory once it's live (v0.10 roadmap), and co-write a one-page collateral piece you can use with your clients. We don't do paid co-marketing or MDF programs — we'd rather route that money into your commissions.

I'm already a SideQuest customer. Can I become a partner too?

Yes. The two are independent. Your subscription stays at whatever tier you're paying for; your partner payouts come on top.

What if my client uses QuickBooks Desktop?

SideQuest supports QBD as a Windows beta starting in v0.9.0. If your client is on QBD, point them at the beta program — they get the connector free for up to 200 POs/month for 12 months in exchange for honest feedback. Partner attribution still applies, so you still earn on those beta-converted customers once they upgrade to a paid tier.
