Install with Claude

Open Claude Desktop, paste the install prompt, Claude walks you through the OAuth steps for Gmail and QuickBooks Online. About 10 minutes.

Label a PO

Apply the "purchase-orders" Gmail label to a real PO email. Ask Claude "parse this PO." SideQuest reads it, matches lines, builds the draft.

Submit manually

Review the draft. If it looks right, tell Claude "submit this draft to QuickBooks." The Estimate gets written. Total time: under 2 minutes per PO.

Common questions

What does "auto-submit" mean, and why is it gated?

Auto-submit writes a clean draft into QuickBooks Online without you clicking submit. It does NOT send anything to your customer; it just calls the QBO Estimate API. The feature shaves about 30 seconds per PO once you trust the parser, which adds up at higher volumes. Free-tier users still get manual submit. More on what auto-submit does and doesn't do.

What if I exceed 25 POs in a month?

The connector will warn you when you're approaching the cap and again when you cross it. Soft overage: 20% over (5 extra POs) keeps working. Beyond that, manual submit pauses and the connector points you at /pricing.html. Solo at $29/mo is the natural next step.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Email only. We don't keep a card on file for Free. When you upgrade to Solo or above, billing happens through Stripe with the usual checkout flow.

Where does my data go?

The connector runs on your computer. Your PO content, your QBO catalog, your customer list, your pricing: none of it leaves your machine. We see only counters (PO count for billing) and license validation pings. See privacy and security for the details.

Can I install on Windows?

Yes. macOS and Windows both supported. QuickBooks Desktop is in beta on Windows; QuickBooks Online works on both.
