Case studies

The math, shown honestly

SideQuest is in beta. We don't have permission to publish named customer case studies yet. What we DO have is the underlying math any distributor can verify with their own numbers. This page shows a worked example based on the calculator defaults, clearly labeled as a model.

Truth in advertising: The case study below is a MODELED EXAMPLE, not a real named customer. The numbers are derived from the PO Time Calculator defaults — values we believe are reasonable for a typical mid-market industrial distributor on QuickBooks Online. Beta customers using SideQuest in production have given verbal feedback consistent with these ranges, but we haven't asked them for permission to publish their names yet. We will replace this page with real named studies as beta customers approve publication.

Modeled distributor profile: 50 POs/day, $35/hr CSR rate

What the math looks like for a $5M to $15M industrial distributor processing 50 POs/day on QuickBooks Online with one full-time CSR doing entry. Walks through cost before, cost after, payback period, and the honest caveats.

Run your own numbers

If the modeled example doesn't match your shape, plug your real numbers into the calculator and see what falls out. Three inputs (POs/day, minutes/PO, hourly rate) and a 10-second wait.

When real case studies will appear here

The honest timeline: we expect to publish the first named customer case study by August 2026, assuming a beta customer has 60+ days of production usage and gives us permission to use their name. We'll write it with their specific numbers, their actual workflow, and their actual ROI — not modeled estimates. Until then, this page stays clearly labeled as worked examples.

If you're a distributor who'd be willing to be the first named case study — for a discount on your subscription and our help writing it — tell us.
